Thailand's national currency is called "Baht" the official prefix for Thai Baht is "THB".
Lower denominations are called "satang" and
a "salueng" this is loose change similar to the cent and
quarter respectively).
One hundred "satangs" make one "Baht" one "salueng" is
equivalent to 25 satangs.
The Thai Baht paper notes issued by the banks are coloured coded for ease of use and they differ in size to reflect the denomination (see below);
